Rio Tinto Fund for The Aluminum Valley

The Rio Tinto Fund for The Aluminum Valley supports :

• The development of aluminum products in Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean: design, conversion to aluminum, prototyping, modelling, etc.
• Studies and analyses associated with the aluminum transformation industry.
• The recovery of by-products from aluminum, recycling processes, sustainable development or circular economy

Funding :

Financial assistance can match the sponsor’s contribution up to $25,000.

Project evaluation :

Projects are selected by a committee of experts based on the following criteria: aluminum use in product design; regional benefits generated by the project; entrepreneur qualifications, among others.
